The program will run through Dec. 31, 2021, and will be applicable for all departures from May 1, 2021, and beyond.

Collette said the advance commissions will be paid upon receipt of deposits. The balance of the commission will be paid when the clients travel. If they cancel, the advance payment will not be recalled, the company said.

The company said it developed the program in collaboration with preferred partners.

"This is a pivotal change, not just for Collette, who is leading it, but for the travel industry as a whole," Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg, co-president of Valerie Wilson Travel, said in a press release. "Quick action and adaptability like this is exactly what is needed to rebuild the global travel industry. I am proud Collette is supporting travel advisors at the center of their business strategy."
