Cottar's Safaris in Kenya has expanded its iconic Cottar's 1920s Camp with the addition of two tents, one for honeymooners and one a luxury double. The camp also renovated two existing luxury double tents, which have now been increased in size by 40%.
The new and upgraded accommodations, each measuring 538 square feet, are named for local rivers and animals: Molo, Ndovu, Athi and Kudu. Offering views across the savannah, the tents all feature wooden floors, large living room areas and ensuite bathrooms.

Designed with exclusivity in mind, Molo, the new honeymoon tent, is nestled away from the main camp and features its own outdoor bathtub. The Athi, Ndovu and Kudu tents each have a daybed that can be made up as an additional single bed, making them ideal for family stays.
With these additions, Cottar's 1920s Camp now boasts a collection of 11 luxury tents: five luxury doubles, two honeymoon tents and four open-planned family suites. Each offers ensuite bathrooms and living rooms with fireplaces.
Rates start from $1,041 per person per night, based on two people sharing on a full board basis. This price includes wildlife drives, walking safaris, a chance to experience the camp's Maasai Warrior School and a range of other experiential and educational activities (park and conservation fees excluded).
