Viking has opened bookings for 2024 dates aboard its newest ship slated to sail the Nile River next year due to continued demand for Egypt.
Travelers can now book the company's 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary aboard the Viking Hathor, which will debut next summer.
Guests on this itinerary have the option to add pre- and post-cruise land extensions, from the five-day British Collections of Ancient Egypt package that begins in London, the new three-night pre-cruise trip to Istanbul, or four nights in Jordan or Jerusalem after the cruise.
The 82-guest Viking Hathor will join sister ship Viking Osiris on the Nile, along with Viking Aton, Viking Ra and MS Antares, which will make up the rest of the brand's Nile fleet.
Demand for travel to Egypt continues to strengthen, Viking said, further fueling the company's investment in building out its presence there.
Viking plans to have six ships in Egypt by 2025. The company launched Viking Osiris last year and will launch Viking Aton this August. Viking Sobek, which is currently under construction, will make its debut in 2025.
