Margaritaville starts taking reservations for Lake Tahoe ski resort

The Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe has begun taking reservations ahead of a Dec. 14 opening. 

The property is a reflagging of the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. It will be Margaritaville's first ski resort

The 399-room property is positioning itself as an all-suite resort, with each accommodation featuring separate bedroom and living areas and measuring a minimum of 511 square feet.

On the dining front, the resort will offer five venues: a License to Chill Bar, LandShark Bar & Grill, Joe Merchant's coffee shop and store, Come Monday Café and JWB Prime Steak and Seafood.

The Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe will have an indoor heated pool and 14,000 square feet of event space as well as easy access to South Lake Tahoe's Heavenly Mountain Resort.

The hotel is currently offering 20% off the best rate, a $50 resort credit per day, two complimentary cocktails upon arrival, a discounted resort fee and late checkout.
